ZOO (CD)
Composed by: Marco Werba

UNSEALED - NEAR MINT - ONLY ONE AVAILABLE

In 1989, Marco Werba won the prestigious "Colonna Sonora" award for the original motion picture score "Zoo"; an italian production directed by Cristina Comencini.

Martina is a little eleven-year old dreamer who lives alone with her father who is the keeper of the Rome zoo. The little girl dreams up stories about the various animals and their desire to escape from their cages to go back home to their natural habitats. She finds out that during the night someone has broken into the zoo. She follows the intruder and manages to shut him in an empty cage. Her prisoner is a boy of fourteen who lives with a gypsy who beats him and makes him to steal. Wanting to escape this treatment he has run away and hidden in the zoo. Martina and her new friend can only meet by night when all is quiet and when the zoo is closed. They have a mutual friend, Bania, the elephant. The little girl's father guesses that there is something wrong and alerts the police and the zoo guardians. The boy manages to escape. Stars Asia Argento (the younger daughter of Italian horror maestro Dario Argento), Louis Ducreux, and Daniel Olbrychski (from "Pan Tadeuz"). 1988
